Ms. Eliseyenko is S&P Global Ratings’ branch head for the office in Russia, which covers the countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as Ukraine and Georgia. Elena is responsible for the business development strategy in the region and manages S&P Global Ratings’ Moscow office, which has been in operation since 1998. S&P Global Ratings maintains ratings on more than 250 in the region, and plays key role in supporting the issuers transparency and development of capital markets in the region. Before her appointment as branch head, Elena was head of business development at Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services in the Region, and was instrumental in expanding Standard & Poor’s presence and coverage, as well as developing the franchise in new markets, such as Central Asia and the Caucasus.
Elena joined Standard & Poor’s in 2005 after having worked six years at Deloitte and Russian air-freighter Volga-Dnepr, where she held a number of positions in marketing and communications. Elena has a master’s degree in Finance and Credit from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics.
