G4G Chief of Party, Natalia Beruashvili, has more than 20 years of experience in commercial law, tax and customs reform implementation in Georgia and Russia. Prior to G4G, she served as Component Lead and Deputy Chief of Party at USAID Economic Prosperity Initiative – EPI (2010-2014).
As Fiscal Reform Team Leader at USAID Business Climate Reform – BCR (2006 -2009) she led key initiatives affecting fiscal policy and trade and investment in Georgia. As a Legal Advisor of International Financial Corporation (IFC) Russia – Primary Mortgage Market Development Project (2006-2009). Through close cooperation with the Ministry of Justice. As a supervisory counsel at the Banking Supervision Project (Chemonics Int.) contributed to the banking sector reform in Georgia. As a tax lawyer of KPMG Consulting – Barents Group LLC USAID Fiscal Reform Project was responsible for research on legal aspects on budgeting and other issues of public finance.
Nato is currently working on her PhD in International Relations. She also has a LLM in International Tax Law of Edinburgh University, a MA in Commercial Law from Tbilisi State University and a BA in the English Language from Tbilisi State University.
